Live Nithya Yoga
It doesn’t matter how many books you read or how much you study, to become a great yoga teacher, one must be immersed in the practice and lifestyle itself.
During the 15 days in Los Angeles, all participants will have the opportunity not to just attend a yoga teachers training, however, experience Nithya Yoga and the Nithya Yogic Lifestyle. The training in itself will be a major catalyst in each trainee’s overall spiritual transformation and allow each participant to experience healing and rejuvenation at the levels of body and mind.
Each day, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Wake early each morning and practice Nithya Thaila Kriya, also commonly known as Ayurvedic Oil Pulling. This technique cleanses the mouth, draws toxins out of the system and confers a youthful face. At the energy level, this technique cleanses the manipuraka chakra (the chakra from where our inner chatter originates) and helps us lead a stress free life.
- Relax, rejuvenate and radiate with the practice of Nithya Dhyaan (Life Bliss Meditation) each day.
- Awaken the body each morning with the practice of traditional Sun Salutation (Nithya Surya Namaskar).
- Practice twice daily a variety of vinyasa kramas (flowing posture sequences), pranayama (breath control techniques), and mudra (meditative hand gestures).
- Purify the inner space daily by listening to and chanting sacred Sanskrit mantra.
- Re-kindle love and relaxation with ones own body by practicing guided body gratitude relaxation (shavasana).
- Recognise and offer your gratitude daily to the divine existential energy by witnessing and performing (optional) sacred Vedic rituals.
- Enjoy a pure and light energy in the body/mind daily by enjoying a pure and light sattvic diet – fruit for breakfast, vegetarian, no onion, no chilli, no garlic, and no mushrooms.
- Prepare the body for a deep and rejuvenating sleep with the practice of evening mandala meditation.
