I work as a research engineer in Singapore, simultaneously pursuing a PhD degree in computer engineering. I attended Swami's talk in Jan 2006 in Singapore on Quantum Spirituality and there began my relationship with Dhyanapeetam, Nithyananda and Mediatation. I never anticipated Yoga to be in that list. Recently, when Swami announced the launch of Nithya Yoga, I was struck by the power of his statement - Nithya Yoga is only for the true seekers, it is an invitation for you to come and experience the energy of enlightenment. I immediately decided to register for the teachers training course. Apart from watching my grandfather practice yoga and read his yoga collection, I can say I had no prior direct experience with yoga when I landed at the ashram for the Nithya Yoga Acharya Training course. My only emotion was that of curiosity. Initially I was wondering whether that was for me, and what I was doing there. As the 15 days unfolded themselves, the words and visualisation penetrated so deep and has been doing wonders in my life. This yoga, as the name suggests is Yoga of Eternity, can be felt through the day, 24 x 7. The blissful transformations are only for one to experience, for they are beyond expression. At the end of the course, the participants from 10 different countries, from varied backgrounds all became one with the common bond and experience of Nithya Yoga. All I can say is that I am eager to start off conducting classes here in Singapore and spread the wonderful message to as many as possible. My deepest gratitude to Swamiji for bringing this to the world, to Gnaneshwari Mayi and Ma Nithya Maneesha for teaching us, to all my fellow Nithya Yoga Acharyas for making life so beautiful ever since and to Sri Nithya Arpanananda, my husband and spiritual partner with whom I will be conducting the classes.

I am a research engineer by profession and all I used to think was
work before I came to know about the Master. After doing ASP/LBP, my whole
approach to life took a big turn. One led to the other and I was being continuously
drawn into the different activities by the Master. One fine day, when I was
browsing through the official website, I came across a video of the
introductory talk of Nithya Yoga (NY) by the Master. Watching Him speak of
Nithya Yoga, I was curious to find out what it is all about. But one big mental
block that I had was that I had never done Yoga before. So I was in a fix to
attend the first Nithya Yoga Teachers Training (NYTT) that was to be held in
January 2007. Around the time when I was thinking twice about attending NYTT,
Ma Nithya Maneeshananda was in Singapore and gave an encouraging talk. She
said, she being a teacher of yoga for a long time has never seen or experienced
anything like Nithya Yoga and not having prior knowledge of yoga is the best
prerequisite. That was enough for me to take the plunge. In January 2007, I
attended NYTT. It is very, very, very difficult to explain in words the
experience of NYTT. Hearing and reading about the concept of NY is different
and actually experiencing those concepts is a totally different ball game. Wow,
after every session, all the 40 odd trainees were in a different plane. The
bliss that we experienced is unexplainable. Of course if we can explain it, it
is not bliss. The power of intention was the key to NY and everything else was
secondary. Yes, asana, pranayama, mudra etc. were all a
part of NY; they were all different layers of the cake. Only when we added the
extra coating of power of intention on these, did the cake taste so satisfying
that we wanted more of it. NY Teachers Training is an experience in itself and
of course what happens in a NY & class is something unexplainable. One
single line of NY - we are bliss, we are embodiment of bliss, and continuously
reminding ourselves of this is good enough to keep us always connected to the
Divine, to the Master. What else can we ask for! |
